Lothar Pirc giving his presentation

In the presence of over 800 live viewers, including ambassadors, heads of universities, members of the press, and Ayurveda experts from around the world, as well as live streaming with over 700 Ayurveda colleges with an average of 500 students, I presented to a total of over 300,000 people, at the Global Ayush Investment and Innovation Summit, our work in Maharishi Ayurveda Private Clinic of over 30 years. In addition, I shared my knowledge and vision of how Ayurveda can be integrated globally.

On the side of the congress and during the breaks between the presentations, we also had the opportunity to make valuable contacts and had many exciting conversations with various government officials, ambassadors and professors.

Lothar Pirc with Dr. Partap Chauhan, Director of Jiva Ayurveda, is a world-renowned Ayurvedacharya, author, public speaker, television personality and the only Ayurvedic practitioner to have received the prestigious World Summit Award from the United Nations. Since 1992 he has dedicated himself to making Ayurveda known all over the world.

TM Lecture at Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Ayurveda in Pune

During my 10-day trip to India, I was invited as a guest speaker at the Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Ayurveda in Pune. Here it was a great pleasure for me to present Transcendental Meditation (TM) in a one-hour lecture in front of 250 students and professors and to show the health benefits of TM. I am looking forward to further cooperation with the Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Ayurveda and the joint projects we will realize.

Summary of my trip to India

My trip to India has come to an end. Once again I would like to thank the Indian government and the AYUSH ministry for the invitation and the opportunity to present the work of our Maharishi Ayurveda Clinic.

I am also grateful for the many valuable and inspiring contacts I was able to make, especially the conversations with professors, students and representatives of universities that teach and spread Ayurveda. I was also pleased with the appreciation I received for the work of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who revived Ayurveda in the early 1980s, trained many physicians worldwide, and was instrumental in advancing research.

I am very hopeful that through the WHO Global Center for Traditional Medicine and the support of the Indian government, Ayurveda will receive more attention and recognition worldwide. We already know that an estimated 80 percent of the world’s population uses traditional medicine, so I am confident that more important research and studies on the benefits of Ayurveda will emerge in the future.
