Traditional Natural Remedies from India and Europe
Exploring a 340-Year Relationship between Netherlands and India

Theme of the fourth International AyurVeda Congress was to connect India, the Netherlands, and Europe through their rich botanical heritage and, at the same time, present the therapeutic potential of plants and the natural approaches to health available in Ayurveda and in traditional remedies from Europe.

The keynote address was given by the Patron of the Congress, Tony Nader, MD., PhD, MARR

Among renowned scientists and scholars from all over the world, celebrational speakers were the guests of honor H.E. Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of AYUSH, Government of India, and H.E. Venu Rajamony, Indian Ambassador to the Netherlands.

In their address, they confirmed their commitment to the purpose of the Congress, namely to establish and promote Ayurveda at the highest level in the areas of education and training, research, practical application and products.

Lothar Pirc and Ms. Shrada, M.D., were the hosts of the two-day Congress. Lothar Pirc also gave a public lecture on Principles and Practical At-Home Applications of Maharishi Ayurveda.
