Another eminent visitor at the
Health Centre Bad Ems

In October 2016, the Indian Minister for Ayurveda and Yoga, Shripad Yesso Naik, visited our Health Centre in Bad Ems together with his advisory staff – see further down this page. The contact was renewed on September 15, 2019, when the Secretary of the Ministry, Vaidya Prof. Rajesh Kotecha (3rd from right) and his delegation paid us a visit.

He presented Dr. Karin Pirc and Mr. Lothar Pirc with a display of the just-issued postage stamps honoring 12 master healers of India including Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and Brihaspati Dev Triguna, who played a key role in establishing Maharishi AyurVeda. He further presented them with a recently-published book about the importance of Indian Saints, which also includes a section on Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi was born on 12 January 1917 in Panduka village, 30 km from Raipur. He became a disciple of the then Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath, Swami Brahmanand Saraswati, in the Himalayas. In 1956 Maharishi introduced his Transcendental Deep Meditation technique (later Transcendental Meditation) to India and to the world. In the late 1960s and early 1970s Maharishi gained fame as the Guru of the Beatles and other personalities. According to the information received, Maharishi trained over 40,000 TM teachers who taught the Transcendental Meditation technique to more than seven lakh people and established thousands of meditation centers and hundreds of schools, colleges and universities.

The benefits of his simplest technique of Transcendental Meditation (Yoga) TM Siddhi program and yogic flying have been validated by more than 700 scientific researches in 250 institutions in 35 countries. Maharishi also scientifically proved that through the increase of Sattva in the collective consciousness, by the collective practice of TM-Sidhis and yogic flying by the square root of 1% of the country’s population peace and harmony can be obtained in the world. This is known as Maharishi Effect and on this basis, he founded the Maharishi Global Country of World Peace.

Maharishi scientifically talks about the rise of Vedas and Vedic literature from the silent level of consciousness and incomparable and coherent level of consciousness and Vedic techniques such as Ayurveda, Jyotish, Sthapatyaveda, to create better health, peace and prosperity for the whole of humanity and society. Explained the complete overall effect of the Gandharva Veda and Yagya rituals. Maharishi also provided full system of consciousness-based education to enlighten the students and citizens to live a values-based life naturally and contribute to the peace and harmony of others in the world.
